Westaff, Inc. has been in business for over 50 years and, with nearly 400 offices worldwide, is one of the largest and most experienced temporary service contractors in the world.

W. Robert Stover established Western Temporary Services (now Westaff) in 1948, making Westaff the first business of our kind on the West Coast.

Pro-active leadership and the vision to continually develop new business opportunities has positioned Westaff as one of the largest temporary service companies in the world, with nearly 400 offices across the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Norway, and Switzerland.

The Helena Montana Westaff office and its predecessor companies have been in business in Helena, Montana since 1985. In 1989, Jim and Nancy Nys purchased Ps Temporaries and expanded the services offered by the business. In the fall of 1989, the company was incorporated under the laws of the state of Montana and the name was changed to Personnel PLUS, Inc.

In early 1995, Personnel PLUS Inc. affiliated with Westaff of Walnut Creek, California and changed its name to Westaff of Helena, Inc. The affiliation has provided our customers and employees additional services and benefits not previously available.

Westaff is the ONLY Helena area temporary service contractor that is staffed on a day to day basis by a certified human resource professional.
